This class is designed to give you real clear-cut information on how to care for your own hair at home in regard to shampooing, conditioning and detangling to the theory behind doing what we do to maintain healthy hair or get us to the place of healthy hair.
This class is completely hands-on. You will receive information prior to the class to prepare you for how to show up to class. In class we will cover the shampooing, conditioning and detangling of your hair along with product knowledge. You will do your own hair and we will guide you through the process from start to finish. Everyone will leave with their hair in a state to either jump right into styling at home. We will NOT be styling in this class. We will only be shampooing, conditioning and detangling to prep for styling at home.
We will not be learning flat twisting, braiding or any styling in this class. If you want to learn how to do one of these techniques, sign up for that class because that technique does take a whole class time!
When: Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 1:30PM to 4:30PM
What to bring: Just yourself and your willingness to learn. Also bring any questions you may have about your hair or any products you are currently using! Also, wear a shirt that you don't mind if it gets wet. Possibly even bring a shirt to change into before leaving in case you get your shirt wet during the process.
What to expect: You should expect to show up and be in a group setting with others trying to learn how to care for their own hair as well. You will be at a table with a mirror and all the tools you need to complete the task! We will provide towels and products to complete the techniques we will be covering.We will cover technique as well as product use and healthy hair practices. You will receive information prior to class on how to prepare your hair for class so we can start right away! This environment is very fun, lighthearted and a time to connect with others who have the same goals as you! No discounts can be used on workshops or challenges!!
Where will we meet? We will hold this class at the Flourish Curls Salon in Arlington, TX.
