Every first time client appointment will receive an extensive consultation, trim, micromist treatment, a full regimen card, and before and after photos to track your journey at Flourish Curls.

Moisture OR Strength

Whether your hair is dry and brittle or weak and breaking, we’ve got you. This includes a full consultation to figure out exactly what your strands need, moisture OR Strength. You'll get a Signature Flourish Shampoo, steam treatment tailored to your hair’s needs, a trim, and your choice of a medium flat twist style (8–10 twists) or a Wash N Go. Your stylist will also recommend which treatment you need if you are unsure!

For hair that needs both love and strength, this combo service includes a full consultation, followed by the Signature Flourish Shampoo, steam treatment with moisture recovery AND protein treatment, trim, and a medium flat twist style or Wash N Go. Your Consultation

Your stylist will greet you, walk you back, and get into it. Hair history, your goals, what you've booked for, and what you want your hair to achieve today and long-term. This is your time to talk and give us all the concerns and goals for your hair and ask any questions, give any concerns, fears, you name it.

The Shampoo Experience

Honestly, this is the best part. A full hour of detangling, cleansing, and conditioning designed to make you feel like you're floating. Let yourself receive it.

Your Treatment

You'll get steamed with your customized treatment while your hair soaks up everything it needs. We also have drinks and snacks for you as well.

Blow Dry, Trim & Product Education

Your stylist will walk you through every product used and why, so you leave knowing exactly how to take care of your hair at home.

Your Style

This will be your wash-n-go, two strands, or flat twist. Speak to your stylist if you aren't feeling the direction or aren't happy with anything so we can fix it. We want open communication so you leave happy and ready to start your journey. We encourage this communication. This is how all great relationships are built.

Consult Form & At-Home Care

Your stylist will finish your consult form, and show you all the maintenance products and at-home care for the in between. At this time please speak with your stylist to get clarity on anything. If you have any concerns whatsoever, please let your stylist or Kristin know so we can take care of it for you.

A typical first time client appointment lasts 3-3.5 hours. Your stylist will use that time to devote to you. Come ready to be taken care of, ready to learn, and ready to have a great time. We'll handle the rest.

What To Know Before Your Appointment

Come with your hair down & ready to shampoo. Please take your hair down from any previous style before your appointment no braids, twists, protective styles or anything that would require taking time before starting your service. Your shampoo session is a full hour, and that time includes all of your detangling, cleansing, and deep conditioning. We want every minute of that hour working for you.

If your hair is severely tangled or matted when you arrive, we’ll have to use that precious time on detangling, which can cut into the rest of your service. We never want to shorten or modify what you’ve booked for and that can happen if we don't allocate the time we have to your booked appointment. So please come with your curls ready to go, and we’ll take amazing care of them from there.

If you need extra detangling time, just let us know as soon as possible so we can see if that service can be added to give extra time, or if we need to move the appointment to a different day to accommodate for all that you need.

Please make sure we have the correct phone number and email on file so if we need to communicate anything with you we can as well. If you need to cancel, make sure to do so before 24 hours so you aren't charged for a same day cancel which is 100% if your service price. Our system is very strict and it will process the day of your appointment if you don't give notice. Please, please let us know prior!

Bring your goals & your questions! Your appointment at Flourish is as much an education as it is a salon experience. Bring your questions, thoughts, notes about your hair history, questions about your regimen, all of it. Your stylist is here to help you understand your hair and build a routine that actually works for your goals. Don’t hold back.

We love your people. We just ask for a little space. We want your stylist to be fully focused on you. If you’re bringing your child in for their appointment, you’re absolutely welcome to be present for the consultation at the beginning and the trim, and of course, ask all the questions you have.

After that, we kindly ask that you make yourself comfortable in our waiting area rather than on the salon floor during the service. It helps your stylist stay in her zone, keeps the space calm, and honestly? Watching your child relax and enjoy the experience from a little distance is a beautiful thing. We’ve got them. We promise.


Rescheduling and Cancellations

Late Arrivals
We have a 15 minute grace period. All late appointments need to be communicated through phone. If you arrive after that 15 minutes, your appt will be cancelled and charged as a no show at 100%.

Cancellation Policy
We have a strict same day cancellation policy. Any cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will be charged 100 percent of the scheduled service. By booking your appointment, you are agreeing to this policy.

How to Cancel or Reschedule
Rescheduling and cancellations must first be attempted through Vagaro. If your appointment is within 24 hours, Vagaro will no longer allow cancellations. In this case, you must call the salon 817-371-9817 and speak directly with the front desk to cancel or reschedule. If you are unable to reach the front desk, you may use the Vagaro Connect app +1 (833) 588-2420 to message your stylist and notify them of your cancellation. A confirmation is still required for the cancellation to be considered valid. Cancellations sent through social media will not be accepted.

Appointment Durations

Please arrive with your hair taken down and ready to begin the shampooing. Each appointment includes up to 1 hour for shampoo, conditioning, and detangling. Excessive detangling may require a service modification to stay within your scheduled time. Vagaro shows you how long your appointment time is. If time allows, additional detangling can be completed for an added fee with your approval.

First-time clients are booked for up to 3 hours total, including shampoo, blow dry, trim, and styling. If it has been over 6 months since your last appointment, a maintenance appointment would be required. Clients inactive for 1+ year must book as a First Time Client.

Dissatisfaction With Service

If there is any dissatisfaction, it must be communicated within 24 hours for us to address it. Give us a chance to fix what may have gone wrong so we make sure you are happy with your experience.

Product Purchases

All product sales are final once they leave the salon or are delivered.
