We are seeking a talented Expert Hair Care Specialist with a deep passion for natural and textured hair. The ideal candidate is skilled in providing top-tier styling, educating clients on healthy hair practices, and fostering a warm, empowering experience in the salon.
Position Details

  • Provide expert consultations and customized hair care solutions for clients
  • Educate clients on proper maintenance and styling for natural hair
  • Perform a variety of natural hair services, including protective styles, silk presses, and treatments
  • Recommend and sell salon-approved products to support at-home hair care
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in natural hair care
  • Maintain a clean, professional workstation and follow salon sanitation protocols
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and growth-focused salon environment
  • Licensed cosmetologist in Texas (or willingness to obtain)
  • Expertise in natural, curly, and textured hair care
  • Strong consultation and client education skills
  • Passion for empowering clients and enhancing their confidence
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a community-centered space
  • A professional yet warm and engaging personality

Front Desk & Admin

We need a highly organized, customer-focused, and tech-savvy team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment. If you’re detail-oriented, great at multitasking, and passionate about natural hair and community empowerment, this role is for you!
Position Details

Employment Type: Part-Time

Compensation: Starts at $18.00 per hour. Pay negotiable depending on experience

Location: Flourish Curls™ Salon 

3701 S Cooper St, Suite 159, Arlington, TX 76015

  • Greet and assist clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed
  • Manage appointment scheduling and follow-ups with excellent communication
  • Oversee inventory tracking, weekly product counts, and order processing
  • Process transactions for services, retail, and vendor payments
  • Handle calls and emails, providing top-tier customer service
  • Maintain organized files, records, and receipts for inventory and equipment
  • Recommend salon products to clients based on their hair care needs
  • Keep the front desk area polished, organized, and inviting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable learning new systems
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, able to work independently
  • Passionate about natural hair and community empowerment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Schedule 1:
 Tues-Fri: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM
 Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (twice per month)

Schedule 2:
 Tues-Fri: 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM
 Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (twice per month)
