We’re looking for a warm, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to help create an exceptional salon experience. As the first point of contact, you’ll ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and supported.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

We need a highly organized, customer-focused, and tech-savvy team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment. If you’re detail-oriented, great at multitasking, and passionate about natural hair and community empowerment, this role is for you!
Responsibilities
💁🏽 Greet and assist clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed
📅 Manage appointment scheduling and follow-ups with excellent communication
📦 Oversee inventory tracking, weekly product counts, and order processing
💳 Process transactions for services, retail, and vendor payments
📞 Handle calls and emails, providing top-tier customer service
🗂️ Maintain organized files, records, and receipts for inventory and equipment
🛍️ Recommend salon products to clients based on their hair care needs
✨ Keep the front desk area polished, organized, and inviting
Qualifications
✔️ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✔️ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking
✔️ Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable learning new systems
✔️ Highly organized and self-motivated, able to work independently
✔️ Passionate about natural hair and community empowerment
✔️ High school diploma or equivalent required

Schedule 1:
🕗 Tues-Fri: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM
🕗 Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (twice per month)
Schedule 2:
🕗 Tues-Fri: 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM
🕗 Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (twice per month)
