From the moment I walked into the door, I felt so relaxed and at home. I went in for the new-client moisture package, and they did not disappoint. Ariel walked me through every step of the way. She thoroughly explained the condition of my hair, the products being used, and gave me a method to recreate the wash n go. She was so kind and answered all of my questions. In the end, I left with all of the recommendations written out so I can refer back to them between my visits.

Not only was Ariel amazing, but the staff as a whole made my visit feel like I was among a group of my good girlfriends. Let me tell y'all Brittney Rodgers is AMAZING!!! Her spirit is so genuine and my daughter and I love her to pieces! We tried a new style for her that we weren't sure how it would do because my daughter is in athletics. Brittney was soooo accommodating and said that if it didn't work out, she would make a spot for her to come back in for her to do another style. TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE! I do not recommend Flourish Salon. I used to book with Brittney Rodgers for 3 months. I was starting to become a regular client. Brittney has good skills in treating and styling natural hair. However, she has poor customer service. On my last appointment she told me she wanted me to book a month in advance and apparently she gets fully booked for an entire month this far out in advance. I booked my next service a month out. The following week I followed up with her to try to reschedule. She responded back right away that my suggested date was already booked. I then messaged her back with other suggested dates & for her to check on the following weeks. She never responded back that day. I texted her the next day and she still did not respond. Over a week went by without a response. I get an automated text saying she changed my appointment to a different time on the date that I could not make without asking me if I could make that time and without following up on my reschedule request. I messaged her again about it to let her know that my appointment time had changed but that I did not receive a response on my last few text messages about rescheduling & asked if she could address it. She still refused to respond. The scheduler ended up calling me that day asking me about my appointment & I told her I been asking Brittney to reschedule since last week & that I never received a response. Then she said let me check to see if she even has any availability. She mentioned that Brittney was busy & that is why she may have ignored all my messages. I used to follow her IG and she had been posting on her stories everyday & on her feed and she is always on her phone. Also Brittney charges more money than what is listed on the website for a service. Returning clients for flat twists is listed as $120 but she charged me $140. The lady at the front desk told me that Brittney charges more because she is “top tier.” As her client she should have made sure to respond to me about rescheduling but she cut me off short saying she was booked on the day I requested but then did not engage me any further in conversation. Flourish Curls Salon is a great place for naturals. This salon has it all. The atmosphere is nice, laid back, clean and is  decorated beautifully. You can go get your hair done, relax and get in a few laughs while your there. All the stylist are knowledgeable and do a great job with caring for our beautiful natural hair.

My stylist is Sess. I've been rocking with Sess for several years now. She is absolutely amazing at what she does!!! My hair stay growing and flourishing because of her. Sess has a special gift.
